TDP #003 – Wildlife Victoria

The original of this comic is for sale, and a further 10% of the proceeds will also be donated to Wildlife Victoria.

I couldn’t have asked for a more friendly, professional and understanding bunch of people. I feel very grateful that this organisation is there to help a silly girl and a possum out when they need it.

Thanks Wildlife Victoria, on behalf of this adorable little guy.

KinokoFry has donated $20 to Wildlife Victoria.

Until this comic I never knew you were Australian.
Poor little forest friend. I harbour deep love for possums. At ANU campus in Canberra they roam wild (well-fed on garbage) and free and do not fear man or cats- since obviously dorms don’t let you keep cats and there are no real residential blocks nearby. It is a haven.
Go Wildlife Victoria! My mother used to volunteer for WIRES, the NSW equivalent. They do hard work.

Thank you on behalf of the friends of the forest.

Thankyou, Caitlin! They are amazing people, I have a huge amount of respect for them. And well done to your mother :)

Most people here don’t know I’m Australian either. Just about every single person I meet asks me what country I’m from because I have an accent from living overseas.

Sorry that the little fellow didn’t make it. Unfortunatley, this is all too common. Growing up on a farm there was no end of injured animals, wild and domestic, that needed caring. Our rural area lacked any sort of group to help or advise, but we did our best. It was always a struggle, but seeing a bird take flight for the first time in weeks or having a critter fully recover is one of the best experiences one can have. Kudos to the people at Wildlife Victoria and all those like them around the world. They deserve all the support we can give.
(Sorry for the long comment.)

ah. Thanks. At first i thought it was a rat. and i was like “ew. why are you touching a rat?” but then the picture wasnt a rat.

here in California, possums look like GIANT rats and are gross and unloveable… at least for me… yours are much cuter.

You know like in How The Grinch Stole Christmas they say, and his heart grew to five times it previous size or something like that?
This comic just did that for me, I actually felt my heart increasing in size as I read this.
Damn you Rebecca, I still had hope of becoming an evil mad scientist someday, now I’ll have to be an insane good one.
You keep being this awesome, I will have to name a dinosaur after you someday like I said in formspring, how does a Rebeccasaurus Clemensis sound?
