Rebecca’s Journey – Flu Journal
I decided to start a journal to record for you my various experiences while sick. Coincidentally, I am on a boat though this has nothing to do with anything. I am just on a journey to places. I then recorded my journal into comic form for you.
Thankyou for your patience and kind words of support while I had the flu (I still have it but I’m well enough to work).
Some of you may recognise my Goode Shippe up there! That’s right, it’s the same ship from one of the pictures in my Pretty Neat Collection of Pictures booklet!

What I love about your comics is that their quality doesn’t deteriorate over time, they’re all good, and I enjoy reading the early ones just as much as the new ones.

I heard yesterday that Melbourne is the Swine Flu capital of the world. Twice as many cases as Mexico (and you are both south of the border).

I just love your comic! Your artwork brings to mind the best of Dr. Suess, but with a more adult flair, if you know what I mean. Your sense of humor is very developed for someone as young as you are. I just can’t get enough of your work. I’m glad you’re feeling better. Count me in as a fan!

Well, when you’re almost 50, anyone in their 20s is a young thing. Her artwork is amazing, but I think I like her writing almost as much. She has an excellent sense of pacing, which is not something you pickup. You either have it or you don’t. She has it.

Vitawheat and Peas for the Grim Reaper, I love it. It reminds me of that year GR stood in for Santa.
He drank the milk, ate the Mince pies and killed the Christmas tree. (Mom was not happy about all the dropped needles).
Oh, and just in case you were still wondering – the general consensus among fans is that Jo does indeed have ‘the flow’. How about that.
