KinokoFry #035 – REMAKE!
Today is something special! I’ve been wanting to remake #035 (see the original here) for a while, because I think it’s quite a solid strip. It was also the very first comic I did digitally, and that does show.
Photoshop? Aha, no. No, my friend. No.
No.
Days of cutting and gluing. It’s my first venture into paper craft and I sure do hope you enjoy it!
Speaking of craft, a couple of clever readers have created some lovely KinokoFry pendants and clay figurines, and both are putting their wares up for sale if you’d like one. 50% of the profits go to supporting KinokoFry.
Check these out!
is offering adorable pendants:
EMAIL her to ask about a purchase.
And is offering these wonderful clay figurines:
EMAIL her about any purchases.
I might be getting ahead of myself but I believe both girls will take requests!
I am so, so very flattered. Thankyou, talented ladies!

Haha! This comic made me laugh when I first saw it, and this isn’t any different.
I like that fact that you’re trying something different. Looks good too!
I love this! I would totally fave it if I could! :3
This looks awesome as papercraft! Might i suggest using clay figures for a comic sometime? :3
Also yes, i take requests – anything you want made, i’ll make it :3 (www.gothic-enchantress.deviantart.com A bit of self-promotion here ^_^)
I…
I am in love…
With this comic!
I want more like this please
Soylent Pink.
It’s absolutely beautiful.
most creative usage of cardboard everr haha
Well, I’m impressed! Do this more!
It took me some time to figure out what’s going on in the last panel, even though I have read the original (quite a while ago, but still). I guess it’s too hard to notice the shelves and it kinda makes everything else uncertain as a result.
I think the original looks pretty great (especially for your first digital strip!), albeit not as great looking as your latest efforts, which are amzing.
But I do hope you’ll make more comics in this technique – it’s just lovely! I could never do that. Glue is not my friend.
I also take requests!
I’m gonna make a few more this week to show off, so I you would like that special Mushroom/chicken/snail/pufferfish made, let me know.
*self-promotion high five*
