Diary #010 – No, Vinny
I cannot tear myself away from this book even to make comics. Vinny made this one. It helped him release his frustration.
The book is “Nothing to Envy” by Barbara Demick and it’s all about what has been going on in North Korea for the past few decades, but told in a story format straight from the memories of the people who managed to escape to South Korea. It’s bursting with humanity. It is incredible. Cannot get my recommendations any higher, my arms are all stretched out and I’m standing on several chairs.
Don’t forget to peruse the prints and posters in .

Can’t believe I’m the first one to comment, I think you are SO talented. And this scene is very recognizable, especially how Vinny reacts. On the other hand, how would I know since I generelly let my cat be the boss of me. ;)
Augh. I simply cannot look at your comics. They make me desperately… desperately… SOMETHING. Your style just does things to me. The cuteness that is not ickysticky cuteness BAUGH.
You are fabulous!
Awww, poor Vinny…
These two panels made it for me. GREAT!

I didn’t notice the cat until panel 8… anyway, i own three cats and i know these situations where you can’t meet the desires of your cat(s) quickly enough ^^
Awwww. My Kitty does the same thing, but I let him get the best of me. (:
This whole scene seems so familiar to me . . . except my kitty isn’t named Vinny.
I thought I was the only one with a cat called Vinnie! So glad I found your site.
I was just running through your archives and I had to comment–that book is awesome! And Vinnie is adorable :3
This is my cat, but more polite. My cat has shoved books out of my hands before.
