Diary #009 – Tuna Pasta Recipe

AND I should mention that you should not use tuna, because tuna is in real shit right now. Find sustainably-farmed tuna though, and you’re COOKING.

Sorry to those of you who would like a more comprehensive recipe but this is about as comprehensive as something cooked in a fry pan needs to be. You don’t need to measure, you don’t need to pay attention to the clock – pay attention to the FOOD. It doesn’t even matter what goes in it, as long as you put things you like in it. Cook with your heart. (Don’t cook by heart with a cake or something though unless you’re really hot-shit at baking, because you probably do need to pay attention to measurements and time then. Baking is science.)

It makes a difference that you enjoyed buying the ingredients. Buy them at a market and be hungry and excited about the thought of making your meal! These are my real cooking tips.

Oh, and I forgot – squeeze lots of lemon onto the tuna. Fresh lemon from the tree in your backyard. You know the one.
