KinokoFry #089 – Origamiflies

The original painting of this strip is (very lovely and) available for $215 (+$5 flat postage)! It’s 170 x 235mm on good quality paper and painted with watercolours.

The Spring Donation Drive will go until the end of October, so if you’d like a sketch/PDF/painting, make sure you donate before November!

Also: Sorry for the wait, guys. Right now, I am a cold’s bitch.

    Beautiful work!

Great watercolor control. I can’t do a thing with them.

I love this one. I love them all, but this is the one that holds the most beauty.

This is absolutely beautiful. Much like all your other work. :3 The weird thing that struck me when I saw this is that I had a dream about lots of butterflies and they were green. This strip is a lot like my dream. And that has touched me. Thank you for making beautiful art!

It looks like you’ve embedded instructions for folding a butterfly, but hey don’t seem complete, even if I count the panels of the comic as the first steps. Do I just not understand how to read them?

I’m looking for the instructions, I know I -HAD- them. Urgh, it sucks not having my bookmarks at work.

Grah. It’s a Michael LaFosse butterfly, I can’t find a diagram for that one, though.

      Another of his here: http://www.happyfolding.com/gallery-lafosse-alexander_swallowtail_butterfly

Wow… I’ve been following this comic for awhile now, but never commented. All your work is beautiful, but the color scheme on this one really appeals to me along with the unique way the panels are divided. I’m with Amanda: if I had the money, I’d totally buy the original.
