KinokoFry #067 – Great Ideas

This is the biggest painting I’ve ever done, and I’m afraid I wasn’t prepared for how long it was going to take, so I just missed Friday.

Damn though. Nice, huh? I’m pretty proud of it. And it looks pretty damn gorgeous in person, if I do say so myself.

As much as I want to keep this and put it on my wall to remind me of how great I am, it’s for sale!

It’s $450 (+ shipping) and HUGE at A3 size (297 x 420mm), painted with watercolours. The text is hand written, unlike the comic above where I added the text digitally to make it clearer. Signed, of course.

Going…

Going…

Gone!

Also, good news! There’s already going to be a Wednesday update next week thanks to your generous donations.

*high five!*

Nice one!! Reminds me a bit of Eversion, to be honest (http://zarat.us/tra/offline-games/eversion.html)
But that’s a good thing, Eversion is the bomb ^_^
    Really nice details!

Because of the above/under ground thing? Anyway, thanks! I’m gonna give Eversion a play in a bit.

Yeah, pretty much! It’s how it looks the same-ish, but like, the underside is more a darker version of the top XD Eversion is like that ^_^

I’ve been following your great battle with this giant beast on Twitter, and I’m glad to see that the outcome was indeed worth it – I’m sure even more so in person. If I had money, I’d actually buy it – I’m not generally an art fella, but I like this… it’s reminiscent of the two points of view in life: positive and negative.

Ironically, I often use the concept of “look at the glass half full as opposed to half empty” with people when discussing life – and those cups in the picture represent that idea well, I think.

Hmm… or maybe it’s just about a talking mushroom.

      Thankyou!

I am all about balance in life, and being aware of the other sides/costs/sacrifices/inner workings of everything.

I don’t think you’re considering all the benefits the underground has to offer, such as corn and a banana.
