KinokoFry #058 – Maths

Comic Book Funny sure was both fun AND funny! And I’ll be there this coming Saturday (the 25th) too for the launch of the very sexy calendar I’ve been talking about having done the cover for. On and on. I never shut up about it. Because it’s that great!

If you’d like to come along to get one, or just to meet me and say ‘hi’ and make me feel like a movie star, then please do! This place has great tiny pies, which are perfect for when the trains aren’t running and you arrive late without having eaten.

And thankyou once again to everyone who has very generously donated so far! I’ll be drawing and sending out sketches from next week.

[GREAT UNCLE SCOTT looks over the kid's homework.]

GREAT UNCLE SCOTT: Maths, eh?

GREAT UNCLE SCOTT: I invented that, you know.

GREAT UNCLE SCOTT: Well. Not ALL of it, of course.

You know, “1 + 1″? That was one of mine.

GREAT UNCLE SCOTT: ‘Course, I thought it should equal 4.

I’m here not to kiss your ass, but to say: 1 + 1 should obviously equal Hello.

Will you be signing/selling any of your art on Saturday? I was wondering if I could print out your patapon comic and see if you could sign it for me because that would be just totally awesome ^_^

Amanda: I wasn’t planning on selling anything but if you’d like anything you see in the store, I can most certainly bring it along and deliver it with a smile in place of postage costs :) And absolutely I would be honoured to sign the Patapon comic!

Jin: There will be a chance! I shall have copies – though I have NO idea how many so it could be very limited – to sell online after the event.

Man, it’s gonna be so good.

    Rebecca,

I already have your art, proudly kept in my drawers (still haven’t had the chance to put it on the bedroom walls :D). But I’d also be interested in a SIGNED copy of the calendar, please! Shipping, etc, would be alright I guess. (as long as it’s the 2010 one, because with shipping times to Greece from you Ausies it would definately be here for XMas :D)

Nik: I will keep one aside for you!

The calendar is a financial year calendar so it will go for a year from now. (ish)
