KinokoFry #053 – Magic Novelties

First off today, a big grotesquely fat thankyou to all the people that have donated so far! It is a BIG HELP to me and I appreciate the fuck out of your support.

Sadly, the great Raymondo Person has ended. :(  No wait, the first book has ended – happily! If you haven’t, I implore you to go read the greatest comic in the universe to understand why this is such an occasion.

Anyone going to be in Melbourne this month? I’m going to be at Comic Book Funny with such greats as Patrick Alexander and David Blumenstein, and many other people I don’t know myself but they could be great. I’ve taken part in special sexy calendar which will be launched there – my picture will be the cover in fact! I won’t be on any panels or anything, but you might see me there and you can certainly say ‘hi’. I don’t know about the other days but I’ll certainly be there on the 18th and 25th of April.

FREDWICK: Yo, Grayscale! Check it out!

[FREDWICK presses a button on a magic wand and fake flowers FWOOF out.]

GRAYSCALE: Ahaha! And a shiny wig?? Neat-O!

Where’d you get this stuff?

FREDWICK: From this magic novelty ship just over…

[A tumbleweed blows past an empty alleyway.]

FREDWICK: But… it was there.

    First? O:
Your art is always so awesome. Even with simple things like this comic, it’s always got so much style! It reminds me of Dr. Seuss’s art style.

That comic has a strange feeling.. It’s either parody, copy* or *shrugs* a prequel. O_o

Man do I love your use of animation & images in general on this web site!

This comic has one of the best and most unique “looks” of any on the web.

“Tumbleweeds exist everywhere that something isn’t.” is the most funny and succinct thing I have read this week.

Amanda: I won’t be at the first one either, but I’ll be there on the April 18th and 25th most likely. Hang on, I should put that in the post perhaps.

Reminds me of the special shops of nick-nacks mentioned in DiscWorld.
