I recently finished reading, ‘Last Chance to See’ by Douglas Adams and Mark Carwadine, and I absolutely cannot recommend it enough. It’s one of those books every single person ought to read.
Apart from being totally funny and wonderful and enjoyable the whole way through, it takes an important issue which we have heard about so much that we are numb to it, and refreshes it by putting it into a context we can all relate to, and by cutting out all the bullshit and speaking in plain, honest terms. And on top of that, you come away from that book feeling like you’ve just travelled around the world to places you’d never, ever normally see or hear about.

I found this comic today! My goodness do I enjoy it. Also I wish I were friends with a pufferfish.
Soooo true, “Last Chance to See” is a wonderful book, one of the kind you will deeply enjoy and never forget.
Oh, and great Webcomic 8^)
Stephen Fry is filming a follow up to Last Chance To See.
Long time reader, first time commenter. Just popping in to say that Last Chance to See is my favorite book, and I reread it every chance I get. It’s a wondrously funny odessy around the world, and I still tear up towards the end.
And good comic today. Poor Squire, starting to get left out of the loop.
Poor little squire… :(
