KinokoFry #040 – Still impending…

Phew!

This comic was supposed to go up yesterday but it… just… took… so… long! On top of that, I’ve been working slow. Is more or less tea the answer? More tea. More tea is always the correct answer.

I hope you all bear with me as I still come to grips with doing these pages with the tablet. There is still a long way to go and I’m still getting used to things.

I’m just going to say a big huge thankyou to my most beloved band – the Scissor Sisters – for getting me through the day. There is nothing quite like ‘Return to Oz’ blaring into your ears and making you feel things about drugs you’ve never taken.

Aww yeah.

To all the new visitors lately – Hey! How are things with you? Good?

Lastly, let me tell you about the most exciting thing in my week: My comic was featured on Kotaku!

Oh yeah – also, Patrick Alexander of Raymondo Person (and generally talented fucking dude) fame is selling some original painted postcards to make money for living, and he’s doing it for SERIOUS CHEAPS. It’s kind of hideous… they are incredible paintings and lovely in ways I dream about being lovely and I suggest you jump on them QUICK (by which I mean buy them and enjoy them. Please don’t jump on them or damage them in any other way except with copious amounts of love).

Go, go, go before you miss out of something wonderful!

Transcript

[The PUFFER FISH is rolling down the steep hill at incredible speed].

[The sun sets and he continues to roll].

[Day has turned to night, and he still rolls on down].

[It's a new day! The sun rises joyously over the hills and our PUFFER FISH is still rolling down.]

[Winter has come to greet our impending disaster].

[PUFFER FISH rolls into the coean and ever downwards].

[He has rolled all the way down into space but just keeps going].

[The BALLOON MAN looks at his watch, clearly frustrated].

I just gotta say, I stumbled across this from fanboys, and I fell in love. I read the entire archive (instead of working:P) and I couldn’t get enough. Keep up the good work, I can’t wait to see what’ll happen to the baloon orphanage. I hope Timmy pops, and only timmy… he’s had it coming to him.

I can’t disagree with that answer, only I like my sweetened iced tea, not hot tea.
