Submameen! part 1
Go, little Submameen!
I know you’re probably thinking, “WHAT IS THIS?!” right now. It’s a cute comic I just did, with no planning whatsoever! And here it is, on my webpage.
I apologise from the bottom of my heart for the lack of updates recently. I’ve just been far too busy. I’m working on a couple of projects right now which are very exciting for me, among other things. But I promise you - I have not forgotten about this place! What I’m going to do though is only be putting comics up when A) I have the time and B) When I really feel good about a comic. Hopefully, this will lead to quality over quantity.
Also hopefully, this will be a temporary thing while I work hard on these other projects (those of you who read my LJ will know that one of them is a children’s book).
I still appreciate everyone’s support so much. I’m working very hard on improving both my illustration and cartooning and writing skills right now - I hope to bring you all more goodness.
Also, thankyou so much to the people who sent me mail and fan art recently! I was touched.

I’m glad to see you haven’t mothballed your webcomics while you’re busy with your book project. I’ve missed them this long while. The submameen is really cute. Hope the story-line continues actually. I’d like to see the submameen’s adventures ^_^ Good luck with your children’s book! Ganbatte ne!

I like this one! It’s cute and aqua and shows how cool submarines with legs are. Get that damn evil fish, little Submameen!

Don’t worry - what you present is appreciated. You do a far better job than I do of providing fresh content, and it’s always enjoyable… so thanks :)

This is possibly the CUTEST THING EVER. I mean, who doesn’t love an adventurous submarine with a lisp? Keep up the fabulous wonderful art.

tesla, I know all the ladies love you man, but you got this one wrong… it’s a SUBMAMEEN, man. That’s what it is. there’s no lisp! This is why it’s so cute. To me, anyway.

on a separate note, rebecca, if you check out the comic called Minus, at http://www.kiwisbybeat.com/minus.html (which starts you at comic #1) you will love it. I 100% guarantee this. There are currently about 120 comics in the archives, and they are all very very nice. I haven’t checked out rezo’s other works, but if they are like Minus I look forward to reading them.
