Extra Special #003

I’m not entirely happy with this one, but what’s done is done now. I don’t have the luxury of redoing entire pages, nor the inclination. So here is number 3 and number 4 is coming soon! But number 5 is still in the hands of destiny, waiting for that $500 mark.
you know all those times people suggested I sell the original art of the strips? Well, I was seretly laughing because I WAS ALREADY PREPARING TO DO IT! And now I have set up a page for it and everything. It took me the entire day, leaning over and squinting at the screen.
Speaking of which, I uploaded a few photos today so those who are interested in seeing what my laptop looks like:

My parents have most graciously offered to lend me the rest of the money I need to buy a new laptop, and I will pay them back when the full amount of donations is reached. So even though I still need those donations and will work damn hard for them - I will be getting a new laptop soon! It’s a HUGE relief because I would probably go blind if I kept this up for much longer.
I’m hoping to buy one on the 6th, which is the day after I arrive in Sydney and the day BEFORE the 24 Hour Comic Challenge which I will be doing together with a bunch of Sydney artists this year, including my very good friends Patrick and Komala.
I CANNOT WAIT!

I thought of star wars when I read this strip too! it reminded me of the scene were luke is practicing his light saber skills with that orb thingy… vuuurmm pichoww!

ouch. that does look painful on the eyes. is there any way to shine another light THROUGH the casing somehow?? find a way to thin the casing down, maybe, and ….oh wait, you want to try to trade it in. -_- Well, I’m very glad that you’ll be getting a new laptop sooner than expected, and I’m sorry the donations are taking a while to get up there. Sounds like you’re going to have a lot of fun in Sydney! I envy you very much! ^_^
