KinokoFry #019 - Grandpa Exclaims
Poor old’ Grandpa.
I’m just drawing away like a mad little fool! This week has been pretty much all daily updates! Impressive, I think. Go me.
And once again, same as yesterday;
If you like my stuff and I’ll assume you do, then YOU MUST see Raymondo Person by Patrick Alexander. It is the most amazing stuff ever, on top of being one of my huge influences, and if you like it so much you stop reading my comic, that’s okay with me because it deserves to be appreciated as much as possible.
EDIT: Whoops! Nothing was screwed up. You were imagining things! Anyway, everything is fine now.

Love the comic! I was wondering if you are a familiar with the art of Naoto Hattori. I always think of your comic and his work in tandum.

hey Rebecca! I went to Patrick’s website! you’re right, his stuff is great! You never told us that he’s the friend you’re staying with while you’re in japan though! at least, he seemed to imply that, where he has a link to a “24-hour comic” that you drew. very nice art there, by the way! as for today’s comic, it makes me wonder what the regular mushroom cap actually is, punctuation-wise…. maybe a stylized hyphen… hmmm…. or side-ways parenthesis…. 0_0 ,~~~,~@

It now loads perfectly into my Google reader.
Unless they’ve figured out an easy way around it, the number of views you receive will likely dip as people sign up for your comic through RSS, but it is greatly appreciated.
I’ve already mentioned your work to my friends, but I’ll be sure to tag it now.
Your counter may not be going up, but kinokofry is definitely making its way round teh internets.

rebecca, i hope you’re feeling better! that naoto hattori guy (mentioned by Jason a couple days ago) does some freakishly amazing art, huh? 0_0<~(envy) i’m seeing mushrooms everywhere since reading your comic! (ok, two places, but still… some in “Dot McSodden” ’s Tobias and Jube, and some cellphone mascot mushroom guy at Baskin Robbins…
