KinokoFry #015 – Imaginary Nintendo

Celebrating imagination!

…or poverty. Maybe both!

A few things!

For starters, you’ll notice, if you are the type of person to notice things, that there’s a new “About” section which I put together today. You can read about my horrible life. I may have embellished a little.

My Beaver and Steve guest comic is STILL up so go take a look if you haven’t already, because I’m rather proud of it.

There’s now a KinokoFry Facebook group so please go and join and feel free to discuss how much you love the comic and make friends, you unsociable wretches.

Speaking of friends of KinokoFry, a very creative fellow, James Mason has a fantastic picture of Fredwick. Go see! It’s so neat. I put it up in the fanart section without even waiting for him to tell me that was cool. So I sure hope it is. Thanks James!

Also, I’ve been doing tonnes of art and little extra comics over on my LJ/art blog.

YEAH!

My imagination always moves faster than my reflexes.

  2. Dumbo says:

Oh noes! He might have broke the controller! Great comic today, Rebecca!

  3. Asbduhas says:

I feel that way in SSBB when I keep pressing Z (shield) instead of C (jump) on the Wiimote+nunchuck controls

  4. Anon says:

I see they are imagi-playing a Super Famicom. But what does it mean to them to play a game where they devour mushrooms? If I ever had to imaginarily play a mushroom-designed game where the main character consumes entire humans to further his warpath of destruction, I WOULD BE SHOCKED, APPALLED, AND MONOCLE’D.

  5. eric from abeno says:

anon, you just described Soul Calibre, I think ^^

  6. eric from abeno says:

rebecca, isn’t it wild that you’ve only got out 15 strips and you’re already recognized by comic artists who’ve been doing this for years?? I think that’s awesome. YOU are awesome ^_^ Bring on the mushrooms! Mushrooms forever! ^_^. I can only do fanart via Windows Paintbrush *shudder* but maybe I’ll give it a shot ^^

  7. Secularist says:

HAHAHA! Kudos! Mushrooms Forever! Yaaay! Sieg! Heil!

  8. Jack says:

Crap, Now I’ve got ANOTHER webcomic to read obsessively every day.

  9. ZeekNyne says:

They seem like the kinda of people who would fight over who gets to play as Toad in mario kart. xD

  10. Artaxer says:

I do believe we all understand that horrible fusteration when those crazy buttons don’t subcum to our will. Just like cheeetos.

  11. Megaseven says:

Haha, I was just playing Super Mario recently… Ah, good times. I laughed hard.

  12. Secularist says:

Is that a giant frog or somethin’ in the background? It moves, I tell ye!

  13. jimbo says:

I too have problems with sticky buttons!

  14. monkey_05_06 says:

Yes, very reminiscent of how our Halo matches turn out. Pretty sure it would be the same even without the console indeed!

  15. [...] Clements’ KinokoFry is just about the most fun you can have reading a webcomic (read this, this and this. You see?), and I just drew a guest strip that you can read here! It’s about a [...]
