I just read what you wrote in your live journal around march 20th-24th. Sitting alone in my apartment surrounded by a “tornado aftermath” version of the same kinds of meaningless stuff, I feel the same kind of wondering despondency you seemed to be emitting then. and who says you write like shit?? you communicated yourself very clearly! frighteningly clearly… the kind of clarity that causes people to reflexively stare into the distance at the far off ending of their time on the planet and question… everything. The kind of thinking we can’t do more than a fraction of the time, sanely. I fear to explore the topic any more than this.
I’m glad you read it and weren’t scared off! I still find it interesting to think about, how I still feel and think those things but not at all with the urgency I did at the time. The brain is an odd thing. I really do think it’s part of our survival mechanisms to fuzz it out for day to day life.
I love your comic, its my ichiban!! Its what I look forward to every week! I guess you could say you’re pretty much my hero! It captures a simplicity and innocence I think most of us have lost in our lives. Yay!!!
